Our mission
Help every Bangladeshi student in Finland succeed academically, professionally and socially — through guidance, mentoring, career support and community.
Our vision
A connected network of Bangladeshi students, alumni and professionals building a lasting bridge between Bangladesh and Finland.
BAFFU brings together Bangladeshi students and graduates at Finnish universities and universities of applied sciences. We welcome new students, run career workshops with partners, celebrate our culture, and support each other through every stage of life in Finland.
What we do
Four goals, one community
Education
Academic guidance for newly arriving and current students: admissions, courses, research and thesis support.
Employment
Career workshops, bootcamps, mentoring, and a shared bank of part-time job and internship opportunities.
Integration
Finnish language support, cultural exchange, and help settling into everyday life in Finland.
Community & culture
Celebrating Bangladeshi culture — Eid, Iftar, Mother Language Day — and standing together in times of need.
